Based of my own experience, from the eight unique features of internet and web as commercial medium, there are three features that I have ever experience is ubiquity, richness, and interactivity. From ubiquity which means anywhere and anytime. So I bought some stuff from E-commerce apps called BukaLapak.com and I bought stuff that came from different region and it worked. Second is richness. Richness mean information that served into different types for example like written information, picture information, and videos information. When I search for some stuff that I looking for, I got different kind of types like information and it help me to found the information that I looking for. Third, interactivity means I can interact with the seller like asking information about the product online, no need to see directly the sellers.

From Mr. Adhi I know that E-Commerce has eight unique features, and Through my experience of selling Computer’s spare part on Tokopedia and Kaskus, and Voucher on Steam, I know that its true because when I sell stuff on internet I felt some of those features, such as ;

  1. Ubiquity
    the buyers could buy my stuff everywhere and anywhere, it is up to them when and where they want to buy my stuff. For example, when i sell my GTX 970, my buyer order my GTX at 5am and I can instantly respond to him.

  2. Interactivity
    The buyer and the seller could interact in someway.For example, when I sell steam voucher of steam, the seller could send me a message, and i could reply back, that way it is really helpfull for both of us.

With the advancement of technology today, where where we can find a wi-fi. Like the experience I had. At the time I was traveling through the streets Ambarawa-Pringsurat at night, around 23:00 I stopped at a mini market before the T-junction towards Pringsurat. But unfortunately I, when I am moving on, the lights of my car died. At that moment I was confused, because I did not know about the car, and worse I do not have a pulse and Internet package, I also just bring a little money. I remember that every mini market as Indomaret or Alfamart have wifi id, and then I bought a package id wifi one day, to tell my friend to come help me. That is one experience I had, where ubiquity is already proven, we can see that the internet technology is already everywhere, we should not have to come to our internet cafes again to surf the internet. when night I want to eat fried rice but a vehicle to get out there, then I think using gojek applications, this application really helped me to be able to order a meal outside and also we could order from a long distance. This application has long been my life and very helpful. gojek applications already known to many by the people of Indonesia and can trust, this application go not only for food but can lead us to the goal in wanted, the advantages of this application is

  1. facilitate us what we need,

  2. when being outside and no vehicles we simply use gojek for coming to us

Eight unique features of Internet and Web as commercial medium based on my experience

I prefer the features Ubiquity, because I have ever had a cell phone that can only be used text message and telephone. When I want to buy things I need to go far to find a store that suits me and it is not efficient to use the internet I have to go to internet stall and pay they half of the money that parents give and even then there is no online store. But it does not take long been Internet can be used anywhere and anytime, using the Internet we can use to shop, seek knowledge just with the handheld.

Another feature of is Interactivity. Interactivity is something I like, because it makes me feel like I was a valued customer. With the new standards set by the E-Commerce, interactivity is now fairly standard in most businesses you find in marketspace, rating and quality goods. There are agents online to chat with you live if you are having problems with the product, delivery or billing. Shoppee is a good example, because we can ask about the items we want to buy as much detail as possible, and if the goods are not fit to me we could exchange them for other goods or refund that.

I am one of the people who use e-commerce ini the world. Why i use e-commerce? Because e-commerce have 8 unique features and i think e-commerce is the easy way to earn the profit. So many benefit use e-money like ubiqulity, global reach, universal standards, richness, interactivity, information destiny, customization, social technology. I have an experience with one of the 8 unique, there are global reach. We can earn profit by selling product to the world. I have experience on global reach, last year i sell an product and i promote to amazon.com, just take an week i already have customer who interest with my stuff, and already sold. Easy right? So thats why i use e-commers because so easily to earn money.

As a consumer of products, I always expect to consume a good products. Not only a good products but also a good services from the producer of the products itself. I expect the most efficient things that I could received from the producers. For example, how can I get the products easier than usual by using technology nowadays. The globalization makes us to improve our daily life also in trading sections. Now, we can use an internet or usually called by e-Commerce to buy or sell something. Me, as a consumer, has done with the e-Commerce transactions. I usually used an application of e-Commerce in Indonesia named Tokopedia. In Tokopedia, I can get anything that I want and I need. For example, I used to buy some accessories for my mirrorless camera like bag and screen protecteer. I got some advantages by doing transaction in e-Commerce. Based on eight unique features of internet, advantages that I got from Tokopedia is ubiquity, ubiquity means anywhere and anytime. From ubiquity aspect, I got advantages from time that I spent. It means that Tokopedia uses an ubiquity aspect. I could bought that goods in anytime and anywhere, as simple as that. Tokopedia made us had an efficient quality of life because we, or me, as a consumer, didn’t need to spent more times to get or buy something and also to pay. By Tokopedia we also can do an interactivity aspect. Which is, the interact with others in trading transactions will happens. The interact is between producers and consumers.
